The last of the Robie series, this one sends Will and Jessica to Colorado to investigate the disappearance of Blue Man, who has been their primary contact with the CIA for years. This is a different role for them, but there are still plenty of dead bodies about and dire situations for them to get out of. It was very interesting to read about old missile sites and their potential for development for uber-rich survivalists. As always, an exciting if unbelievable read.

So sad to come to the end of this series. Great page turning and guessing who the bad guys are. Love Baldacci and love Will Robie.

I don’t think this was the best book in the series. I think Guilty was much better. It was still good, face paced book that had many twists and plenty of surprises.

I am semi embarrassed to say I had not read a David Baldacci book before now, so when Grand Central Publishing sent this review opportunity my way, I jumped at it because I wanted to try a book of his. He is a local author, I have gone to a signing of his and yet hadn't read him, so putting him on my review calendar would make me sit down and try one!
I knew I was jumping into a series midway, but I also knew that each book was self contained other than a little of the main character growth. Overall, the book was just fine. Will Robie and Jessica Reel were great, there was enough detail given to know about the things of the past that probably happened in previous books, so I didn't feel clueless about them and their past with each other.

Svært god serie igjen av Baldacci. Han skuffer definitivt ikke! Lyttet til hele serien. Svært gode innlesere av serien som ligger i sin helhet på Storytel.

Not one of the best ones. In fact, I found it a tad annoying and was upset at the characters.

There was nothing terribly exciting about this book. Definitely not one of Baldacci's best. The End Game that shows up at the End of the book was actually the least entertaining. The mystery (and the romantic tension) leading up to the End Game was the most intriguing and the reason I was kept engaged in the book. Baldacci is a gifted writer and I certainly won't stop reading his books. But, this one won't be remembered.
