Beautiful, elegant, and so intriguing. This Sleeping Beauty Retelling had me hooked from the beginning. I love all things maleficent so this was right up my ally. Great detail and the twists were phenomenal. Well worth the read.

An enjoyable and very spicy (my eyes bulged out of my head when Malec told Aura to step on his neck) Sleeping Beauty retelling with a gender-bent Maleficent as the MMC. The plot involves a lot of religious bigotry with two religions that are about the same level of difference between them as Catholics and Protestants.

I’m not sure how I feel after reading this. I’m not sure I loved it; but I didn’t hate it. I enjoyed recognizing aspects of Sleeping Beauty throughout the story but some parts were just too cringe. Not the worst!
