I really wish Laura Ingalls Wilder lived long enough to finish this book and to write many more about her fascinating life. What a treasure this entire series is!
Not uninteresting look at the early years of Laura's marriage but significantly less polished than the other books (though to be fair it is an unfinished manuscript.) The last several pages are also a real downer.
