Err, I don't care too much for Garrick's voice, and Bliss's wasn't as great as I remember it being in Losing It. The relationship is also a bit too clingy/co-dependent for me. I kinda liked it but probably will forget about this in the long run. The subject matter also just isn't for me. But it took place in London, so at least we have that.

A shorter read than I thought. A nice continuation of the story. I’d like to know how the story of Bliss and Garrick ends!
3.5 stars
I really enjoyed meeting Bliss and Garrick in Losing It when I read it earlier this year. In fact, I've enjoyed all of Cora Carmack's stories much to my surprise. In this novella, Keeping Her, we are reunited with Bliss and Garrick as they make their way to London in order for Bliss to meet Garrick's parents. Keeping Her was funny and awkward and had lots of steamy moments between Bliss and Garrick. It was easy to read and nice to revisit and spend more time with these characters we'd already fallen for
...
My only issue with the book is that it's too short. And while it brings up issues that are interesting and we are introduced to new characters, there just isn't enough time to explore them. The bulk of the story is of Bliss being nervous about her upcoming in-laws and yes, we do get to see her making a less than favourable first impression and that was endearing. But I would have liked things to have broken the surface a bit more about Garrick's relationships with both of his parents or more about an issue that was brought up towards the end. Everything just seemed to end very suddenly.

So many nerdy references in this novella. ME GUSTA.
I loved Garrick and Bliss's relationship and while this was cute to see them after the first book, I just felt a little indifferent about it. I couldn't stand Bliss and the all over the place when Garrick had made it abundantly clear he loved her. (But like I totally get that feeling, just don't want to read about it ya know) Plan on continuing this series later this year though.
Aww I love Garrick & Bliss, so cute! I enjoyed the story, Bliss never fails to make me laugh & who wouldn't love Garrick, he's amazing!
Wish it was longer, Bliss and Garrick are my favorite from the series.
Keeping Her is a short story that takes place after Losing It. Novellas have a tendency to be okay, but not great. This is not one of them. I gave Keeping Her 5 stars and enjoyed it equally as much as Losing It and Faking It.
The story details Garrick and Bliss's trip to London to visit his family and to celebrate their engagement. This is the first time he has returned to England since he left for college six years earlier. We get a taste of what life was like for him growing up and Bliss has the opportunity to meet some of his high school friends. She is very insecure about meeting his Mother and a surprise party throws both of them even further off their game. Fortunately they are both actors and are willing to play the part to put on a show for his parents and their friends.

Adored this. I'll take as much Garrick and Bliss sweetness as Cora will give us.
