I was so excited to read a book that takes place at a school and from the summary I thought it would be fun and interesting. I’m just disappointed that this book turned out to be mostly graphic grooming descriptions instead. I will say that I was constantly shocked and I wasn’t guessing the plot twist most of the time, but overall, I did not enjoy this book

I felt soooo icky after reading this. The twists may have been amusing but dear god, it was not worth it!! There should be a trigger warning for this book. I feel gross.

- Insane plot twists with some plot holes?? Hudson/Jay are the same person??
- Was a little hard to read the perspective of a groomed teenager, but it was well-written
- Characters were a little one-note but still interesting enough that I was invested
- Overall a good read but probably wouldn't read it again - I'll definitely check out other books by this author though

I put off reading this book for the longest time, but this book had me hooked from the first chapter. The pacing was fast, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages. Even when things felt off or uncomfortable, I still wanted to see what would happen next. That’s the kind of pull this story had.
The characters were messy, flawed, and at times hard to understand. Some of their decisions felt unrealistic or frustrating, but that chaos added to the suspense. There were moments that made me uncomfortable, especially with how certain relationships were portrayed, but I think that was intentional.
The plot had a few holes and not everything added up perfectly in the end, but the ride was wild. Some twists I saw coming, others completely threw me.
It’s not a perfect book, but it’s a gripping one. I breezed through it whilst in the hospital room, probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if I wasn't so bored during the long waits at my hospital appointment.
