The trio return for another adventure. This book was scarier, creepier and grittier than the first. And not something I should've read in the middle of the night.

Loved the friendship between the trio.

While the first book was more Ollie centered; in this we see more of Coco. And I'm hoping we get more of Brian in the third book since he wasn't that much present in this book.

Spoiler I did not know the two books were going to be this connected. I thought we'd have a new villain. Didn't like much how it was the smiling man again

Boring and the characters were paper thin - I just didn’t care about any of them or what happened to them because they were so devoid of distinct personalities.

Another good installment in the series...the only issues were with the ending that seem to wrap rather quickly without answering some major questions:  the backstory of Gabe and why he was taken by Madame Hemlock, what exactly happened at the orphanage with the killings of the girls and how the ghost wound up in the mirror world, etc.
