This was very enjoyable! I loved the idea of an advanced AI with a soul who has been lost for 30 years, and a rebel girl who just wants to save her world, finding each other. Adventures ensue! It was a dystopian piece that had some really beautiful moments.

Considering I picked this up on a whim simply because I thought "Hey, I wanna read sci-fi, this looks like a sci-fi, I'll read it!" and I LOVED it!
Honestly I never heard of this book, I had no expectations, I had no idea what it was about before I read it, and honestly that made it that much better. The romance was sweet, the characters and places were pretty cool, though a little all over the place at times, but I enjoyed this a lot nonetheless.
That ending made me tear up though! How dare Claudia Gray leave it off like that. Second book here I come!

Seriously. So good. I didn't really know what to expect going into it, but wow. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series! I love these characters, and I want so badly for them to find a way to fix everything. I hope for a happy ending. This one is bittersweet and beautiful and hard and wonderful. And that last line, swoon.
