If you like thrillers that are non stop stress from page one and don’t let up, this is a book for you! Personally I hide my eyes at the stressful parts of movies, so I had to read this a little at a time. But still a fun thriller!
Read in sub 24 hours in the middle of a working week. That says it all. Thrilling but packed an emotional punch.

To be upfront, I am not a fan of rescue shows and so shy away from them and books too. But this came to me when I shelved it at my job at the library. After numerous successive shelvings, I thought I would take a look.
To be honest, I stopped a couple of times, but the author kept me reading. It’s a book that wasn't a preferred genre with great characters, a fast-paced plot, and twists and turns that continued to pique interest. Drowning has all these literary components. And more.
The main characters, Chris, Will, and their child, are just fabulous, and the cast of characters from a woman pilot, to military leaders, to Chris' undersea workmates had the depth necessary to carry the plot.
Pick this one up. You will enjoy it. -Tom L.
