This book leaves me speechless. Talk about having people's two worst fears in one book. Will and Shannon (Will's daughter) are on a trip to drop Shannon off to a two week camp. Chris (Shannon's mother) didn't want Will to go since Shannon is getting older and can travel by herself. Will and Shannon barely take off from Hawaii when the plane goes down while flying over the ocean. Will and 12 other passengers realize they need to get back into the plane, so they don't die of smoke inhalation. As hours tick by, Chris makes the plans to remove the passengers from the plane as their oxygen pocket is diminishing and CO2 poisoning is setting in. Do they survive?

Needs to be a movie asap. Read it front to back in one go, already had me crying at 40 pages.

What an amazing thrilling read! I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook and it was fast paced, edge of your seat, AMAZING!

It has been awhile since I have read a thriller, but Drowning by T.J. Newman reminds me of why I love this genre! I started and finished this book in one day, it was that good!

I am not going to spoil the plot, but I will say this...LISTEN TO THE AUDIOBOOK! You will find yourself up and pacing, like I was. You will find yourself getting mad at whoever thinks it is ok to interrupt you while you are listening to this book!!

Thank you to Avid Reader Press, Simon & Schuster Audio, Netgalley and T.J. Newman for the eARC, Finished Copy and ALC of this book in exchange for my honest review. 5⭐

Can I give this six stars? I think it raised my blood pressure. Twists and turns, claustrophobia, heart pumping tension and what ifs drive this book, right to the very last page. Start this on a Friday Night, you won’t put it down until you finish it.

This was my most favorite read of the year. Not only could I not put it down and thought about it constantly when I wasn't reading it and how much I just NEEDED to get back to read it, it was also action packed from the FIRST PAGE. I didn't understand every term that was mentioned in regards to the plane enough, but literally, the character development and storyline was phenomenal and I'd read this again and again.

Honestly, such a good book. I couldn’t put this one down! This was an anxiety driven plot, and I couldn’t wait to know how it ended.

I have a true fear of something going wrong while flying, so I don’t think this helped that
