What a phenomenal Star Wars book. This is one of my favorite SW books I have ever read. The audiobook is fantastic and I highly recommend it while reading this book! The SW score placements for specific scenes and the sound effects used helped enhance so many moments even more! It made you really feel like you were right there in the story.
This plot had me hooked from the first chapter. Each time I turned the page the story got more and more exciting. I liked how well Adam Christopher really tied the entire Skywalker Saga together in this novel with easter eggs and character appearances. There was, at first, three plot lines going on Luke & the Sith, Lando & Luke searching for Rey’s family, and Rey’s family trying to stay safe. Everything crossed together so perfectly through the story and I never felt lost reading.
This story also enhanced the Sequel Trilogy a lot. Rey’s backstory and why she was left on Jakku benefitted so much from this story. We finally have a story to how Rey ended up back on Jakku. I also liked that Rey’s father’s connection to Palpatine and Exegol was explained. That helped enhance the story of TROS and why Palpatine wanted Rey so badly on Exegol.
I highly enjoyed the adventure we followed Luke and Lando on. I loved reading about the two of them and seeing them work together! Luke’s plot line of discovering these Sith secrets coming to surface again was my favorite.
I enjoyed every moment of this book and I highly recommend it as a must read for SW books!

Just… what an incredible and enjoyable read. I have always admired what the last three Star Wars movies have added to the universe, but now, with an expansive array of details and new information, no one can convince me that these movies are useless or “not Star Wars.” I loved reading every second of this novel, from bringing Sith legends to reality, building upon characters in a previously empty timeframe, and even the writing itself. The story was so magically told, I felt like I was eight years old again, watching the original trilogy, but this time - in book form. I simply cannot wait for more, and I need my friends to read this ASAP so I can nerd out.
