As expected... my heart is filled with both happiness and sadness, because of an ending that is bittersweet. I always knew it would be this way, but that doesn't lessen my tears. Even with that, I still love and adore this story.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Mamura and Suzume, they're adorable together, and in some ways he's better for her, but I just can't let go of my love for Satsuki. He is the 'Daytime Shooting Star', and he always will be. It's kind of funny that when I watch the movie (which I watched before reading the manga), by the end I was rooting for Mamura, yet somehow by the end of the manga I was was rooting for Satsuki. this was definitely a ride. this last volume really had me worried there for a second when it seemed like suzume would get together with shishio, and i'm grateful that didn't happen. not only do student-teacher relationships make me extremely uncomfortable but also i've been rooting for mamura ever since volume 1. my heart is filled with happines because they ended up together !! it's what they deserve, really.

3.5, i read all of the volumes, i enjoyed this and was satisfied with the ending, it isnt my all time favorite but i still enjoyed it :)

My favorite manga of all time. If you are not really into manga or "japanese stuff" you should totally start reading this serie.
I just cannot express how much love I feel for this history. Everything in it is amazing, the characters, the plot, the art... omg don't make me start to talk about Mika Yamamori's art.
Everything is so beautiful, the way it flows and how the characters have their own style and you can see it through the entire story.
You can feel how the characters grow throughout the story and how the different situations makes them change.
I don't know. Maybe it's just that I'm really obsessed with student-teacher relationships and this is the first time that I have found one that is not cliché or creepy.
The mangaka played with my heart so many times. I surely can say that is the first time that I didn't know who the protagonist would choose. One moment you think is Sensei, next time Mamura and so on. The most awful part is that you finishing loving them both, and you know that one of them has to win. So cruel ;-;
But well... I just want everyone to read this manga and shout my love for it.

damn i’ve finished the series. i’m kind of sad
i started this series a whiiiile ago but then i kind of got bored so i stopped. then i randomly started it again because i decided i wanted to watch the movie and i couldn’t stop reading it even though its 6am on a school night. it was so good, so cute and i completely fell in love with mamura. i’m so happy with the ending and i can’t wait to watch the movie too.
for my first ever manga, i’m really happy i started with this one. aaah i love it so much

La verdad es que estoy decepcionada porque el manga no me llenó como yo esperaba. El romance final no me emocionó y no me gustó que hubo mucho drama con Shishio-sensei, eso llevó a que no viviera muco el romance entre Suzume y Mamura.
Me gustan los personajes, pero el desarrollo de la historia fue la que no ayudó.

Honestly, I think this manga is one of the best shoujo-mangas ever written!
I read it a long time ago, but still one of my favourites. I love the way it´s drawn and I really love the story. When I read it for the first I couldn´t stop. The story is cute but it never gets boring. The end was really surprising for me and gets me everytime.
I think it´s the first manga where the real life movie is really good, whoever reads the manga should watch it.

I enjoyed this series so much. Even though I hated the teacher-student aspect of the series, I think this is a very solid shojo series. The characters are likable, the romance is sweet, and the artwork is beautiful. Suzume was amazing and I love her and Mamura together but my favorite character was Yuyuka. I'm so happy that the author didn't make her into the typical jealous rival lead.
