Started out interesting and fun but I lost interest by the end

I came into this a Karla Pacheco fan who was only kind of familiar with Spider-Woman. I expected some "dammit, Karla!" moments and rampant unnecessary destruction and wasn't disappointed. The running bit with the helicopters was especially fun.

I'm still bummed they got rid of her motorcycle leathers-like costume, but there is a nice callback to it. I found the story interesting overall with some nice interweaving of origin, but one of the twists kinda comes out of nowhere. I'm also getting a bit tired of the "everyone I love gets hurt, work is me," trope. I much preferred the confident Jess of the Dennis Hopeless run.

It's not bad by any means, but it's not amazing either. Still, it's got me interested in where it all goes.

Pretty meh although the last few pages got me eager for volume 2. Just didn't like this arc. It was exhausting.

that wasnt half bad. just confusing. i think the main problem is they tried to do too many "plot twists" in a single issue. the art was good too. oh and i do NOT dig the new costume... 4 stars though cause i'm biased

Disappointing. I loved the last Jessica Drew line. I knew this one would focus less on her family and more on the action, but...ugh. I'm just really disappointed. The first issue was good, after that it just isn't keeping my interest. And I can't remember if this is from these issues or the next volume (since I'm reading the actual comics, not the volumes) but she's treating Roger terrible and I'd much rather read about him and Gerry tbh.

Started out good but then after the first 3 issues the plot got really convoluted. It felt like there were too many subplots going on. The writing was trying too hard to create shock value instead of making a solid story.
