Small Business BookTok ARC Reviews: "Space for More" by Emily Antoinette

Note: This ARC was given to me for free by the author and I am reviewing this book voluntarily.

In space, there isn't just room for more, there's “Space for More”! Longing for adventure and for a chance at her first intimate experience, Dr. Eden Mori applies for a medical position on Spire. Little does she know, however, that she's actually applied to work for a spy organization! To make matters more complicated? She starts to catch feelings for her partner, Mezli, and the enemy target..Mezli's rejected mate, Phelix!

The second book in the “Spire Station” series, Emily Antoinette sets up a whimsical Sci-Fi world that combines elements reminiscent of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Mission Impossible”! The relationship dynamic between Eden, Mezli and Phelix was not only entertaining to follow through Antoinette's comedic and witty dialogue, but the character arcs and development paints thoughtful messages and themes of Trust, Self Love, Communication, and Body Positivity! And the plot twist? Out of this world! If you’re looking for an exciting read that will send your soaring across the stars, then don't miss out on this book when it hits online shelves on February 20th, 2024!

Honestly had so much fun with this book, I loved the throuple together. This book is smut heavy and is kind of important to the plot if that’s something you avoid. But I’ll definitely be reading more Emily Antoinette and probably the next and previous space books. I got this in a stuff your kindle and I’m so glad I did. It’s a sweet silly alien book with polyamory; complex emotions, miscommunication and espionage!

Honest ARC Review: Wow what an angsty, emotional, and sexy story! Two aliens and one human come together in a web of lies, secrecy, and lust. Phelix and Mesli are aliens and faded mates. They are both nobility and have families who have high expectations of them. When they meet for the first time it goes very wrong and the two part ways. Eden is a human doctor who finally gets to travel off her planet. She can't wait to explore a new place, meet fellow doctors, see aliens, and finally lose her v-card. When she gets roped into being a spy she is shocked but she doesn't have much choice. When Eden, Mesli, and Phelix meet and spend time together things get really messy. These three have a lot of baggage that gets in the way not to mention a spy job gone wrong. The three eventually find their happily ever after. This story is for those who love angst and emotional reads. These three are such a tangled mess and go through quite the journey. Every time it seemed like they were all on the same page something else would happen and throw a wrench into things. Even though they went through a lot it made their love that much more strong and resilient. They had to go through some rough patches and that is very realistic and relatable. I really enjoyed the fact that the mate bond did not make the relationships between them. It was there but each persons had to put in work to get to their happy ending. The spice between these three was so good and I enjoyed the uniqueness that came with the alien anatomy. I am always happy to read books with real bodies and I especially loved that the MMC was not the stereotypical jacked guy. I would definitely recommend this book for lovers of FFM alien romance, plus size real bodies, double the male equipment, secret spy shenanigans, second chance romance, and a messy but sweet love.
