Interesting start / middle, kinda wish there was more to the ending

Meh. The pacing was way off, but there was definitely a good sense of atmosphere. Not awful but also not that good.

A short story about a former sex worker tuned psychic who is trying to make some money manipulating the customers of hers to make some profit. She meets Susan, an upper class businesswoman who fears her stepson is possessed by a spirit connected to their new house. The protagonist takes the job only to find out she is getting herself involved with a sociopathic teenager and a desperate housewife. This could have gone so well had the writer not hurried to finish it so quickly. The plot was good and it leaves you with many questions as to what really happened in that family. However it was nothing out of the ordinary and it left the reader wanting more. An easy read, one can finish it in a sit down but nothing special

This was fine but it was so short that I feel like I didn’t really have a chance to get into it and then it was suddenly over. It was a quick, somewhat unsettling read.
