Oh boy do I have things to say about this book...
1. I KNEW IT
2. HOW COULD YOU?!?!
3. You have broken my heart
4. I don't think we can be friends anymore. You know what you did.
Seriously though, from the very first sentence I was consumed by this book. It was like I was transported right into the world and was a part of Iyana's little found family.
I wish you would give my boys a break though (and not literally. No more breaking my boys).
It was so easy for me to fall head over heels in love with the characters. Kaz is also a whole damn mood and I'm keeping her forever (you hear me, Jeannine? FOREVER. DO NOT TEST ME).
This book gave me every emotion under the sun...then it reached into my chest, grabbed my heart, ripped it out of my chest, and served it to me on a silver platter.
I sincerely hope you're working on/are almost finished with book two because I need some retribution and some bloodshed.
Read the book, y'all.

This book was such a fantastic read! The main and supporting characters are just amazing! Team Save Arinem! You get a found family, a love triangle, and betrayal. You get gods, goddess, and stars! The writing style was great. Easy to follow world building and magic system. I absolutely loved the author’s rich vocabulary. The open door romance was well written and frequent without overpowering the plot. Altair is star daddy but I was team Emmeric all the way! Being the first book in the Celestial Whispers series of course it ends in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next one!

This book is incredible, I can’t believe it’s a debut! I read it for the first time a few months ago and am currently doing a reread for the release and am just as awed by it the second time around.
The world building & magic systems are rad and described in a way that my carnival brain was able to latch on to without getting bored and distracted, which can be an issue for me in the fantasy genre. I was engrossed in the story from beginning to end and am counting down the minutes to book 2 already.
The characters were so fun to read & grow with. Talon is a forever favorite 🙌🏻. The banter between all of the characters was so dang entertaining & the love is top notch. The sass, spice & story were all very well balanced to keep information and tone without things being heavy on heavy too, which is generally another issue I have within this genre.
Top to bottom it’s an amazing read that I will recommend to everyone!

Phenomenal!
I was lucky enough to have been given a chance to beta read for this book and my gods it’s amazing! There’s a rich history and lore to the created world, it has great characters and places in the story and I found myself wanting to know more about the history of the world.
The story is incredibly well written, the characters are well thought out and genuine, I absolutely adored the main characters and the ‘love’ interest. You felt the things they did, it drew you in and I could not put this book down once I started. At every turn I had to know what was coming.
I did see some of the plot point happening before they actually did, but it in no way cheapened the moment of reading them and discovering how they played out. It was so well done with genuine emotion and great descriptions that it all just felt like an amazing journey while reading this book. I cannot praise it enough and I am desperate for more.
