Tangled Twosome by Meghan Quinn

Need an ab work-out? Read a Meghan Quinn book! More specifically, grab this one! I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard while reading before. Meghan knows just how to write the perfect rom-com without being cheesy or over the top. She also works very serious and realistic situations in between the humor. I’m still amazed at how the joking and the hilarity only add to the story. It doesn’t take away from it at all and I can’t get enough.

I absolutely loved Racer McKay as a supporting character in My Best Friend’s Ex and love him even more now after reading his own story. Georgiana, aka Georgie, Racer thinks she’s a stuck up rich girl and Georgie thinks he’s a jerk full of attitude. They are like oil and vinegar and drive each other absolutely crazy. But what do they do when the chemistry is too much to handle?

I absolutely love how Meghan can make you feel like crying from two different emotions. First I’m crying from laughing so hard and then I’m tearing up because of how my heart is reeling. I couldn’t get enough of the pranks, fights, and everything about this book!

Another amazingly funny and real rom-com by the queen!

4 "Little Debbie" Stars

Ever since Racer was introduced in 'My Best Friend's Ex' I wanted, no, I needed a book written for him. And when I found out that in fact he was getting his own book, I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to know more about this magnetic character.

Racer McKay is a hard-working, loyal, takes no crap guy. He's so much more than meets the eye. Yes, he's a clown at times. Loves being the jokester and prankster, but deep down he's as serious as it gets. Times after tough for Racer. Needing money for the amount of bills that are piling up, he'll do just about anything. Even taking a job working for a rich "princess."

Georgiana Westbrook is more than a pretty face and more than the amount of money her family has. She has goals and dreams. Nothing will get in the way of achieving what she wants. Not even her father, who thinks that her place is at home taking care of her "future" husband and not making a living for herself.

Racer and Georgie's banter was off-the-charts hilarious. The tension between these two was so intense. They were all kinds of witty. Racer and Georgie are more alike than they are opposite. Yes, they come from different financial and social statuses, but it doesn't matter. Both have aspirations to be more than what is expected of them. They truly did compliment each other so well.

All-in-all I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Yes, it was a rom-com, but it also had a little seriousness to it, which I liked. Once again, Meghan brought it and I can't wait to see what's next.

Hard hats and chicken nuggets...

Can we talk about how awesome Racer is? I loved his character and his smartass ways. This story was definitely one to beat. Their enemies to friends and beyond relationship is one to be envious of. The dynamic between the two was so sweet and hilarious. Good read! Finding I can never go wrong with one of Meghan’s books!

4 Full-on-Belly-Laughing Stars!!!

There are few books that make me BUST out laughing, actually taking me by surprise. And it happened more than once. This book definitely reminded me of R.L. Mattewson’s Neighbors from Hell series. What do you get when you put a HAF construction worker and a spoiled rich princess in a room together? This book.

“Little Debbie is my sugar mama. I love that bitch hardcore.”

“Little Debbie, as in the fat-filled snacks?”

“The one and only.”

Scanning the compartment of his cab, I look at him and say, “There must be fifty wrappers in here. You’ve eaten all of them? Aren’t you afraid of getting fat?”

Like the cocky ass he is, he lifts his shirt and pats his abs. “Not concerned, Princess. But thanks for checking.”

Racer. Sexy, hot construction worker. YES>>>PLEASE. This guy is the perfect temptation. He meets Georgiana when he is a hired by her father to fix the pool house. Racer thinks Georgiana to be the typical spoiled, rich princess, and so begins the game of “Who can be the biggest asshole/bitch?” Georgie hires Racer to help build her dream bridal boutique, so they have to work closely together and spend lots of time with each other. The banter between these two is hilarious. Racer is such a dick! And I loved him! They even go so far as to play terrible pranks on each other.

These two couldn’t be more different. Hate-to-Love relationships are my #1 favorite, and Racer and Georgie hate each other soooo much, it’s delicious. They come from opposite worlds, but their attraction is fire-hot. A pissed-off Georgie is the best kind of Georgie. Fucking fiery and perfect in every way.

Piece by piece, Racer and Georgie reveal bits of themselves, surprising each other. But I love that the witty banter doesn’t stop. It doesn’t get too mushy. Racer stays the cocky ass he is throughout the whole book, and that was much appreciated. He is so damn charming, I couldn’t even stand it.

It’s so twisted, our relationship, but ever since he’s started working here, I’ve become accustomed to his relentless teasing and nit-picking fights. I need them. They make me feel alive. He makes me feel alive.

This was my first Meghan Quinn book, and I am completely ashamed because this book was hilarious and I loved loved loved these characters! The story was hot and I was entertained during the whole book. I am definitely going to go read more of her books asap because…..all the laughing. And if you know me, you know I LOVE TO LAUGH. Laughing is my favorite.

I finally got to read Twisted Twosome. This was the only book I hadn't read in this series (I totally read them out of order, came across them when The Other Brother was released haha). I'm so happy I finally got a chance to finish this story, and with Racer and his antics nonetheless.

Racer seems like such a larrikin and easy going guy, and for the most part he is. But learning about his past and the thing that is keeping his as determined as he is, really shines a light on what great character he has.

Georgie is a wonderful female lead, and it's great to have a character who comes from a family like hers, but is so completely different, and stubborn, and fierce in her own right. She won't just fall into line, because she has her own hopes and dreams.

And of course, we have Tucker and Smalls, and some other really fun secondary characters too.

This one is full of funny antics and pranks, and lots of sass, but its also full of heart and strength, and it was a really great read.
