Tangled Twosome by Meghan Quinn

Racer is a total man's man. He builds houses, works hard for his money, and has a hot body to show for it. (If you've read My Best Friend's Ex by Meghan Quinn, you might remember Racer; he was Tucker's friend with the Little Debbie snacks obsession.)

While Racer is a bit rough around the edges, Georgiana is the opposite. She's polished and refined, like fine china. And like fine china... her demeanor is mostly just for show. Despite living a life of wealth and privilege, G dreams of finding her own way by starting up a bridal boutique. Armed with a business degree from Columbia and a solid business plan, the only thing standing in her way is Daddy Dearest. However, he has other ideas about the role a woman should play in a man's world and is willing to do what it takes to thwart her plans.

After Georgiana's father uses his clout in the construction industry to blackball his own daughter, G desperately needs help from Racer to complete the remodel on her storefront, while Racer risks losing the house he built with his father if he doesn't accept G's job offer. The partnership seems like a no-brainer because it's mutually beneficial to both parties. Unfortunately, both Georgiana and Racer already have a negative first impression of each other after a previous encounter ended in a shouting match. Forced into a volatile situation out of sheer desperation, the two must work together without killing each other or doing something equally stupid like falling in love.

As always, the shenanigans Meghan Quinn dreams up had me laughing out loud. The crazy pranks Racer and G pull on one another are great (the radio DJ prank call was HILARIOUS) and my heart turned into goo every time Racer got all sweet on me. Sigh.

"He believes in you, G. Straight-up, that man is a keeper. I know you're guarded, and you have every reason to be. But Racer? Even though you've never looked for or needed a knight in shining armor, that is what he is. Not as a rescuer, but as a believer. In you. He is completely and unashamedly there for and with you."

I enjoyed this one a lot.

Racer is the exact right amount of sarcastic, snarky, grumpy, ass who has to put up with a rich, spoiled, socialite who is really just misunderstood and mistreated by her male family members.

The dialogue is great. Their chemistry is great too! This was also a super quick and easy read.

This was the first book that I've read by Meghan Quinn and oh man did I love every minute of it!

Racer and Georgiana's story had me laughing throughout the entire book. The bickering between the two is epic and the pranks are pure brilliance!

Their story had me not only laughing out loud but also in tears and near on sobbing in some parts. There is pure beauty written in these pages!

One of my favourite parts was Georgiana's use of unique words, which she named her wedding shop after. I loved Georgie's perseverance and drive to make her dreams come true.

Racer is like a little kid in a grown man's body. It makes him so endearing and you just have to love him.

Twisted Twosome was the perfect balance of romance and comedy and I can't wait to read more by this awesome author!

Twisted Twosome can be read as a standalone even though Tucker, Racer’s best friend, has his own book: My Best Friend’s Ex. I haven’t read Tucker’s story but after reading Racer and Georgie’s story, I think I’ll probably pick it up to read it asap.

I loved Twisted Twosome! I laughed so hard while reading it, it’s filled with funny dialogues, dirty comebacks, hilarious moments (I’ll never be able to listen to Uptown Funk with a straight face from now on) and the sexual tension is off the charts.

Honestly, I had mixed feelings about Georgie at first because she seemed a little shallow but Meghan did an amazing job by showing how she didn’t quite fit in with her parents and their expectations (I hated her Dad so much) and how hard she was working to make her dreams come true. Now, Racer was a whole different story, I loved him at hello! Even when he was being a jerk, he was so absolutely irresistible. Seriously, his inner dialogues are hysterically funny, he’s smart, sexy, shirtless most of the time, witty, sweet, protective, hard working, I think it’s pretty obvious I found a new book boyfriend!

Twisted Twosome has the perfect balance between funny moments, amazing chemistry and deep emotions. I’m a big fan of Meghan Quinn’s humor and I hope Smalls gets a book too. If you love a funny enemies to lovers story with dual POVs, I highly recommend Twisted Twosome.

Enemies to lovers storyline —- easy read, a few laugh out loud moments. Racer kind of annoyed me as an alpha male but overall it is exactly what you expect when reading smutty chick lit.

Meghan Quinn has stolen my heart. I fully intend to read everything she has put out. And she really does "put out."  (Pun intended... lol) This story is super sexy and incredibly hilarious. I don't even think I was a huge fan of romantic comedy until this book.

Twisted Twosome is an enemies-to-lovers story, and I can't say enough about it. It is perfection. We meet Racer McKay who is down to earth and snarky. He loves to give everyone a hard time, and he and I could seriously be the best of friends. He had me grinning like a schoolgirl with her first crush and I really did laugh out loud.

Georgiana is the privileged rich girl that Racer has no intentions of giving the time of day. But people really aren't always who they appear to be as Racer and Georgiana reveal their true colors to each other.

I'm a big fan of dialogue in a book and this one is definitely at the top. The relationships are so believable you would think you were just a part of the gang. The banter is so funny and completely inappropriate most the time which made it that much better.  If you are needing just a good, fun read or are looking for your next rom-com, make it this book! This is a top read of the year for me!

I loved the banter and pranks, and the conflict was pretty believable for a rom com story. It was great to see Tucker and Emma and Smalls again, too. I may have to search out some of Quinn's other books for when I need a light, fun read.

No matter how long it took me to read this book, I can say that I really, really, LOVED it!! This book is about Racer McKay, the Little Debbie worshiping friend that we met in My Best Friend's Ex (you do not have to read that book before reading this book). Racer is all man with a huge heart and we get to see all of that in this story. A true enemies to friends story that will get at your heart as well as make you laugh out loud with the pranks and jabs. Georginia is the female character that is trying to find herself but at the same time resist the crazy buff guy she see as an a$$hole. Both Racer and Georginia have to find themselves through this journey that is funny, sweet, kind, and heartbreaking at times.
