I normally avoid "airport books", but I read this because a client was reading it and wanted to discuss it. To my great surprise, I found it very readable and really inspiring.
The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek gives us inspiration to play the Infinite Game against ourselves vs. the Finite game against each other. It challenges the ways that we look at the responsibility of business and our responsibility to each other and our employees. As someone who values adaptability in business and life, it was heartening to read a book that so directly challenged closed-mindedness and inflexibility. It is important to remember that at the end of the day, there will be no winners of success, of family and of life. We must all play the infinite game to find true success and meaning in our work.

The book begins with the titular philosophy, that's great. The last 30% is biographies of famous people through the lense of the philosophy and you could skip it.

Generally good idea, especially in the second half of the book but it could probably be 100 pages shorter. For every chapter as well as for the whole book you get the idea quiet early but then there are three more examples and almost no studies. I know this is an American way of writing these books, but I just don’t vibe with it

This is a very hopeful book. That there is another way to look at the world other than in this simplistic black and white, finite-what's-in-it-for-me way gives me a clear vision to what life should really be, professionally and personally. It's a must read.
