I was introduced to the concept of finite and infinite games and was recommended this book for a deeper dive. However, I was hoping for more focus on personal growth through infinite thinking, whereas the book leans heavily toward the business perspective. The anecdotal examples were interesting, but since I already understood the core concept beforehand, I didn’t feel the book expanded on it significantly. The key takeaways could have been conveyed just as effectively in a shorter summary. Ultimately, it didn’t quite match my expectations, but it could be a great read for those interested in the business aspects of the infinite game.

I've got a front row seat to a formerly infinite company being run by a finite CEO. This book articulates the pain of that process and the dangers of behaving that way.

Very enjoyable book. Great examples.

One blind spot here is that there are many companies which play unethically and win over and over. There are companies which make the ethical infinite choice and go out of business. This book is over simplified.

For all the hype this book gets, it didn’t disappoint. It establishes and explores a powerful ethos for… well, there are obvious applications on business and politics, but I think the ideas that Sinek explores are applicable everywhere. The examples were helpful. I find myself thinking now, all the time, how do I approach this from an infinite mindset? Already had positive application.
