Ahh these characters and this story just keeps dragging me in. I devoured this and need more now!

My hopes were literally so high after the first book but this was disappointing. Things happened I don’t understand why and I didn’t like it. Marist gave me whiplash and I’ve never wanted to hit a character more because of it.

I’m praying that the next book gets better because if it doesn’t... this’ll just be another series where I hoped for so much but got so little.

Obsession indeed

I promised myself I wouldn’t start book 3 immediately, but Imma have to reconsider, because what just happened? I realize I keep saying that more and more as I read this series, but seriously, W. T. F. Things and stuff keeps imploding everywhere you see and the feces officially hit the fan in that last chapter

What the hell did just happened? Nikki Sloane def knows how to write an ending bc I have to know what happens next now. In regards to the dark romance aspect of this book, I’m not sure I actually enjoyed it. It’s hard to like a scene when no matter how tantalizing and teasing the partner is, the MC is constantly saying she’s uncomfortable. Okay…if she’s uncomfortable why am I reading this? One more book in the first trilogy of this series, and so far I’m not sure if I’ll read the two connected standalone that take place after.

Well damn. I have no idea how to feel about this one.
