I enjoyed this book a lot. It was a great second installment of the series. The SPICE is so good. It is not a 5 star read because I wish the MC had more of a backbone. She should be able to resist Macalister's affections if they are truly unwanted and if she is truly in love with Royce. Overall this book kept me hooked the whole way through and I highly recommend!

I've never given a book I finished lower than 4 stars but this book was not good. The dad has issues and I don't under why he even has his own book there is nothing he can do to make up for his behavior. How do you make a book for an unlikeable character?! The son is irritating only for the fact that he can't stand up for him or his wife. I felt so bad for her she had no choice since she married into this stupid family. So far with I've read both books in the series and I'm disappointed!

This would be a fun read were it not for the vast amount of non-consensual acts in it. It certainly can draw you in, but made be very uncomfortable at times.
