So I must admit that I haven't known about Anna May Wong for all that long, but as soon as I learned about her, I was curious to know more about her story. I appreciate how this was told in a more narrative format and how the events of Anna May's life were contextualized around the events that were happening in the world at that point in time. It did feel a little long for what it is and we spent a little too much time, in my opinion, on things that weren't Anna May. But it is always fun the learn about 1920s Hollywood, especially as it related to its first Asian American movie star.
