I love this author. Read everything he writes!
The hardest part of reading this book is believing that the main character, Elsa, is only eight years old; her actions, knowledge, and thought patterns are far beyond a child. Perhaps I haven't been around an eight-year-old in a while, but Elsa seems too wise beyond her years. The plot is intriguing, though I wish there had been a few more hints (maybe there were and I didn't get them) along the way as to the point of the book.
I read this for book club.; if I hadn't, I don't know I would have finished it.
