What a cliffhanger!

Middle books in a trilogy can be hard. Characters really have to grow but the problems won't be entirely solved because there's another book to come. I thought the second book in the series was better than the first. There was more depth. I got chunks of new information while also still being curious about what was really going on in the big picture. I liked the twists and the ending made sense. I will definitely be reading the final book sooner than later.

I liked this book better than the first. I think there's a few things that don't feel very believable but it's an enjoyable story nonetheless and easy to get into.

absolutely blew through this one!! what’s going to happen next, aaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I am loving this series, which is so shocking to me for I have never really been into Sci Fi. Like I stated in my review of the first book, I think the balance of Sci Fi to your standard thriller is perfect. Nothing is too over the top. The story Crouch tells seems like it could possibly happen, and that is somewhat terrifying. The writing is superb, the characters are intriguing, and I would argue that the second book is better than the first which I rarely say for a series. On to the next one!
