⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars

Not what I expected (the twists!) but so so good. Mhairi McFarlane is such a fantastic writer. I really cannot wait to read more from her. This is my third novel from her that I have read and each one was truly fantastic.

This book had a lot of British-isms and sometimes I blacked out mid-sentence, but it's okay because that means I read this even faster than I otherwise would have.

I can always count on McFarlane to captivate me with a intriguing story and realistic characters. This is a very very good one.
