This was enjoyable but I don’t really think it was necessary to read if you’ve already read A Touch of Darkness?? TBD if I’ll read the rest of the series from Hades’ perspective.

Hades is ALL IN! I wish I read this in tandem with a Touch Of Darkness, it brought the story full circle. I enjoyed the power struggle and the view of the bigger story. I had initially found Persephone annoying and childlike. It is spicy so if you don't read spice or are easily offended, this is not for you. Also Hecate is my favorite character, she game the balance.

I hated re-reading the same stuff from the previous book all over again, i wish it had less repetitions, i liked every new bit and every Hades' thought tho

Don’t love multiple POV’s in different books bc I feel like I’m rereading the same thing, and I preferred persephone’s perspective but there was enough new info to still make it pretty interesting!
