All Magic has been destroyed, so various magical creatures turn up (handily on different days) to challenge Doctor Strange.

However, the doctor is using his Strange utility belt and right at the last moment produces the Magical MacGuffin of Somewhere and defeats them.

I was truly interested in the setup for this volume: that with the world mostly deplete of magic, Doc Strange has to start making up new spells instead of relying on the same Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth and all dem other silly names readers have heard ad nauseum since the character's creation. And there's a really interesting thing happening on the sidelines with the new Mister Misery character and Orb, the ex-thief who has taken over the duties of THE WATCHER but in a sadistic way. But instead, Aaron uses the last few issues of this volume to quickly ramp up to a yawn-worthy boss fight. I want to see more of the supporting characters built up before launching back to the same classic, inevitable villains. Come ON! By the last page, I had mostly lost interest in what was happening.

Maybe it was because my marvel comics phase has ended (a.k.a I had no real interest in reading this book but since it’s only 2 more volumes I want to finish the run) but this book was so boring it didn’t have a real plot just random villains showed up and tried to kill him which might be fine for a single issue that’s meant to introduce people to his rogues gallery but not for volume 3 of a 4 volume run

This was a very interesting read. I wouldn't say its a serious comic, but its fun. The art is very interesting and I've enjoyed reading this particular series. I recommend.

More amazing work from the Aaron/Bachalo team. Witty, visually stunning, with a cool story-line and unique characters. Can't wait for more.

1.5 stars.
I felt disappointed with this volume because I really enjoyed the first two volumes of Doctor Strange. The story was all over the place. Every issue is something different like one issue has the nightmare and another has Baron Mordo at the centre of the story. And in places it was just plain weird and not in a good way.
It also took me way longer than I expected to finish this volume because I started in November but I just kept putting it off as I had better comic series' to read.
I'm going to give this comic series two more chances before I take it off my list.
