Age gap
Ex boyfriends dad Romance.

Indie & Callan have been dating for a few months, things between them start to slow down but things between Indie and Astor, Callan’s dad, start to heat up.
Indie goes to Astor when she’s in trouble, he offers to help, in exchange for a arrangement for 8months. She gets help and he gets her.
Astor has wanted indie since his son brought her home and now with this arrangement he gets what he wants.

This was a good book, the age gap didn’t really bother me, the author didn’t make a point of talking about it every chapter like some age gaps. The book was centred around their relationship and Astors need of Indie.
The book also lays the ground work for the next in the series.

the “youre sick” after hes thrown his student/girlfriends mothers boyfriend off an helicopter and threatened her with as much torture she could take without dying from the mother in question that he answers with “i know but your daughter loves it” TEN OUT OF TEN

Character development was lacking and just couldn’t vibe with the storyline. I’m a mood reader and it was a bit too much smut for my mood with characters I wasn’t invested in.

I wasn't sure about it at first, then she mentioned the horse and I was like- "HORSES" and suddenly I read it ten times faster lmao

But no, seriously; I wasn't sure about the book at first, Astor's behavior felt a little weird and almost like a big red flag at the beginning but THEN... it turned me into a giggling, crying mess, in the best way possible.
There were definitely some cringy scenes but it was worth it for all the cute scenes and I just loved reading the book!

SPOILERS AHEAD!

I mean, I giggled, cried and giggled again when he bought all the horses back and admitted his feelings for her- SO GOOOOD ughh. I just live for a good age gap and this book delivered.
