Generally entertaining, with some interesting angst and family dynamics.
That said, it really felt like it needed some additional editing. I don’t want to hear again the word lumberjack for at least another year (it was mentioned 38 times as both noun and adjective, I had to check)… besides that, other thoughts/conversations felt repetitive and I also found at least one contradicting detail in the story.
Besides that, if you enjoy good family connections and this trope (like I did), you will have a nice enough read.

Overall this was a really enjoyable read from start to finish. Watching Gus and Chloe rekindle their romance, once they got out of their way, was so sweet and satisfying. In fact there was more than one moment that had me kicking my feet because I was feeling so giddy with the two of them. I just really loved them as a couple.

I devoured this one in just a few hours! I usually shy away from any books containing pregnancy, but I knew if Daphne wrote it, I had to read it. I'm so glad I did! I've loved both lumberjack series so far and can't wait for the next one.

This book was so cute! I don't love how the tattoo/camera thing never really gets resolved but I'm sure we will get to that later. I love the effort being out into the relationship. The ending felt extremely rushed.
