This teen book has nearly every trigger warning possible and yet I couldn’t put it down. The poetry was masterful and changed what I thought a novel in verse could be.
I found this book so hard to put down. Just so incredible.
cliche and contrived "poetry," but I still read it in a few days
I didn't really like how it was set up nor did I like many of the reasonings and just. I don't know, maybe it's because I've lost people to this stuff that seeing it portrayed in this way just, didn't sit well with me.
But, if you do like darker things and the prose is interesting to you, take a look.

This was the second time I have read this book. The first time I read it I was around 19. Now at 34 I read it completely different but still a good read.
My favorite part was as we were reading my mom was saying “This can’t be YA.” And me saying “It absolutely can be.”
This is not a book to LOL about. Lots of trigger warnings in this book but the poetry was really nice.

This is a heartbreaking story beautifully told. I don't relate to Kristina/Bree, precisely, but she lends a certain insight into my sister's life. A life that, but for a few choices and personality differences, could well have been mine.
I can't wait to read the next two books. I'm rooting hard for this girl.
