The book wasn't bad, entertaining some what but the story line was lacking, just the girl making mistake after mistake. Not an awful book, but I wouldn't recommend it to others...overall. meh.
I wish I could give a rating of 3.5 stars, because I did find this book to be very intriguing, but I'm not quite to the point of saying I "really liked it." The idea behind writing a novel about drug abuse in free verse is thought-provoking, but I felt the storyline was a bit cliche and predictable. Also the ending was underwhelming for me--I know there's a second and third book to this series, so perhaps if I kept reading, I would be more satisfied with the final ending, but I don't know if I'm interested enough in Bree's story to read two more books about it.
damn. morbidly dark and depressing, very few ups and so many downs, but that perfectly describes drug addiction. BEAUTIFULLY, nay ARTFULLY written, and a message that will stick with the reader for the rest of their life. five stars.

I listened to this book through audio and I feel like it was well written, and at first I didnt like the audio but thennnnn, it just made sense and I loved it. this book made me think about about what I hope to do differently when I one day am a parent. but I feel like it gave such a good story as to what really goes happens to someone on that creates an addiction.
