I thought this book was fine. I follow Words of Women on Instagram and found the writer through this, figured I’d give her book a try. I like the quotes she sources and found her personal stories really enjoyable, but generally I think the book was a little too straightforward for me. The advice felt obvious and the writing felt simple.

Great book! While addressed specifically to women, this should be read by everyone.
While I appreciate the emphasis on taking responsibility for your own actions since you can't control others, I wished there was a small part about protecting yourself from bad situations and people who don't treat you well.
