Women helping women obtain abortions pre Roe v Wade. The intricate workings of the Jane organization by women who are nonmedical professions and their relationships was a great read especially now that women’s reproductive rights are again threatened.

FANTASTIC!! I was not expecting to like this as much as I did, but a great take on a relevant topic - I did feel like there were passages/dialogue that were a bit textbook/preachy, but otherwise fantastic - would recommend

I was enjoying this at the beginning, but it became pretty didactic -- a lot of telling rather than showing. It was inspiring to read about a group of women working together to fight for women's rights, though, even if the writing ended up lacking for me; it definitely spoke to the part of me that held various leadership positions in the feminist club in undergrad.

I read this book for Just A taste Group book club . It is a historical fiction book set in 1960's . I enjoyed the feminist slant .
