I have never finished a book so fast! The emotional roller coaster these two MCs have unfurled for us in this book has me gripped since the beginning. Cole kind of redeemed himself in my eyes in this book compared to the first book where I thought he was a bit emotionless. I’m glad Mara found her niche when it came to her life and seeing her character being built into confidence had me smiling. Love the connection between Cole and Mara and the fact that Cole is such a simp for his girl.

Like the first one, this wasn't the greatest piece of literature ever, but I enjoyed the story. It was fast-paced, short and entertaining. I enjoyed seeing the continuation of Mara and Cole's story. We got a bit more backstory and depth of both characters and saw why they are the way they are. 

Overall, a quick and fun read

Loved!!

Absolutely loved this duology. The character development was amazing. And the spice was even better. But there was still a plot and a story that kept me engaged. Definitely recommend!
