This book i tarted a month ago right after the first one then I took a pause bc I had some issues with it but I think those issues I realized as I kept reading did add more to the book and I really liked it. I think the book was solid I had fun while reading it though and I have some scene that will forever be engraved in my mind

There Is No Devil is dark, but felt lighter compared to There Is No Saint. Still, the wild, morally gray (bordering on black) ride continues.

"The man who never cared about anyone is fixated on the girl nobody gave a shit about. In some twisted way, we’re made for each other."

I felt THAT to my bones.

Without Mara, Cole is the devil. Without Cole, Mara is dead. Their twisted, obsessive connection is what makes this story so gripping. You can’t look away.
