A great wrap up to the Sinners duet! There is no Devil is a great book, although, I thought the first one was a little tiny bit better. I recommend this whole series to anyone who likes dark romances that have stalkers in them.

I liked this a lot more than the first. In my opinion the plot is better and the characters are also better. Honestly loved it!! Glad Mara got her revenge as she deserved and I love the relationship development between Cole and mara. Love them tbh
The conclusion to the Sinners Duet
There is No Devil is the concluding book to the Sinners duet and it does not disappoint! We were introduced to Cole, Mara and Shaw in the first book. With this second book, Sophie delves deep into the human psyche; showing both the evolution of Mara and Cole.
Mara feels like damaged goods. She strives to move beyond her traumatic past, but it still lingers, tainting everything good in her life. It makes her weak even though she works so hard to be strong.
Cole has a dark beast inside of him that he feels like he must feed. His traumatic past also shapes him into who/what he is but, on a very different path than Mara. He embraces the pain, but it comes at cost: a chunk of his humanity.
Bringing Cole and Mara together triggers a catalyst reaction. They both evolve into “the best” of who they can both become.
While this book does dig into the human psyche and trauma response, Sophie dumps a big ole smorgasbord of wicked hot smexy time. The chemistry and dynamic between Mara and Cole just make it even more delicious to devour.
This book took on a very personal meaning to me. Trauma in my younger years has shaped me into the person I am today. This book makes you think; it is for the best or for the worst? I loved reading how both Cole and Mara were able to strengthen each other to bring out the best in each other. To find that one person that truly completes them.
