Very good book, but also did not stand out to me? Maybe it’s because I watched the movie first (which I rarely ever do), but I knew generally what was going to happen. I still enjoyed it, and honestly appreciated that it did not have as much Action as the movie did. Very interesting world building as well.

I thought at the beginning that I was really going to like this book…The concept is cool and I liked the set up of the story. But as the story went on, the pacing turned in to this weird mix of a plot point dragging on but then suddenly resolving which ultimately culminated in a very rushed ending.
quick book, funny. really weird choices made that lost me a bit. liked the history portions, well developed world. didn’t love the ending, felt rushed.

Read after seeing the movie. Bong was right that it’s funnier to kill him more times. Book was much more reflective but quite good. First kindle book!
