The author is amazing at world-building. Everything is incredibly thought out. This does make it a little bit slow though, especially at the beginning. But it really picks up at the end.

I’m going to be honest and say the first few chapters had me lost, and I had to restart at one point. Once I got past the start, I couldn’t put it down. The world building in this book is extremely well done. It’s the first book in a long time that’s been able to immerse me into its story as well as it did.
