This debut novel was absolutely captivating! I thoroughly enjoyed this read and look forward to reading more by this author!
I loved reading something based in a culture I am not familiar with. Though I thought sometimes the main character was portrayed as having a younger mind than the age she was, I enjoyed the storyline and really liked the ending. I definitely recommend reading the author's note at the end as well. It made me appreciate the book even more.

It’s always great to read a book that you can’t put down but especially when you also learn something about another group of people too. A very interesting mystery and a very real story that needs to be heard
