Definitely not as enjoyable as the first book - might have been Maud as the lead, might have been that it seemed more focused on sex than on the mystery. Will probably read the third book to wrap up the series but if this had been the first book I would not be continuing.

smart but at distance of a hand, yet closer than the first part of trilogy.
sex scenes were less overwhelming by sheer size of them through pages, yet his lordship and bratty journalist won me over much more than two main heroines, which I personally find rather sad.
