The book is about Scarlett and Abel. Scarlett was hired by Abel as a chef, Scarlett always thought that Abel hated her but she doesn’t know that Abel likes her. Abel needed a girlfriend, so he asked Scarlett to *fake date* him. From there their relationship have evolved. I enjoyed reading this book. It was such a fun and cute romance book

this was a fun read. I honestly would’ve like it more if there was less spice but that’s just my personal preference

okay this was weird?
like this book had all the right tropes and the author said yes, but no.
the writing was weird at some moment and i did not understand what she was trying to say. the characters are kinda but not really but kinda the same.
able abbott (weird fuckin name) - dude wtf, pining after a woman, and you don't know and did not have the balls to talk to her for wait what 8 months, wtf dude? and wait he actually kinda forced her, no wait, coaxed her into this fake dating shenanigans offering his 14 billion ( or million idk and id remember) house, you won't see me doing that, for sure, and out of desperate love for her, nope. mr. abbott here had his romantic moments, and they were okay, but at some point this [him] became wayy tooo unrealistic. like really, no real man would be this fucking romantic and do some of the things he did. also where was the football in this book, cause i definitely didn't saw it. the dude had a nickname, a coach and a few friends who also played football and that was ittt. where did the SPORTS romance go? im curious lol.
anyway...
Scarlett whose last name i don't even know - well she literally jumped to conclusions the whole book without checking what the other person, abott, might have to say. also she forgave him way to quickly? and i have heard that some people revolved their personality around a color and here we are. green. okay, whatever.
the first chapters were weird, the last chapters were awful (i mean i love smut don't get me wrong, but it was literally like 4 or 5 chapters of them fucking after they got together for real now and it killed the whole point of sexual tension throughout the book if they were gonna fuck at the end, not somewhere in between lol) and i did not need to see this much of them having their happy ending. at some point, maybe on the 70% mark, i just didn't care anymore. the shotgun wedding, a day after the proposal, not my thing but i can get past this.
the one thing i couldn't get past was, the whole aera (or whatever her name was ffs) things where the author tried to prolong the story with. abott with that us was so ominous, that i didn't know that the fuck was up. was she his sister, and ex girlfriend/ fiance/ wife and got really annoyed by that. and the whole breaking point was dumb. and don't believe everything you read on the internet sweetie.
anyway if i continue to review this book id get angry and i don't want that rn, so byeeee.
