Ok this is so random
But yk the beginning isn’t bad
It’s later it’s just gets weird repetitive and boring as hell
And it’s so long
I agree with beau’s review

It would've been higher but once they confessed at
66-ish
% I wasn't invested anymore. Also, the third act breakup annoyed me a lot 😊

4,5⭐️

Okay when i first started reading this book i thought it was going to be a 4 or 5 star read but as i was reading it i don’t really know what happened, it quickly became a bit boring for me. Everything was happening so fast, at the speed of light, like one day they were “enemies” and hated each other and the other day they’re whole ass friends and taking it a step up with the fake dating. I felt like i didn’t even know much about the characters except the obvious, all the characters were that was and it was bothering me so much. I even liked Mae and Lea more than the main characters so 3 stars only for them.

This is what I wanted the Wall of Winnipeg to be: dual POV, more romance and more insight into why the male love interest was closed off. However, I thought the book lagged to them getting together and then it rushed to get them together and have an ending conflict. Cute read though!

I do not remember much from this book. It was insta love and honestly not the best. I didn’t really feel the connection between the characters and didn’t really feel the love. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t swoon worthy by any means.

Very average plot, Scarlett was clueless and a little needy and Abel was cute but also plain stupid.

3.75⭐️ it was a cute quick read. Probably won’t be thinking about this again but it got me to actually read so yeah idk. Don’t have a strong opinion about this book

You know what this book was missing for me? Side characters, that is where you get your banter and fun in these kind of books. There was literally 2 side characters and they’re Scarlett’s best friends who you hardly see, Abel has no one nada not a single soul. You’re telling me he hasn’t got 1 friend, not a single person to hang out with and have a chat? Also there was absolutely no sports included, which for a sports romance is slightly annoying. Other than that this would of been a 4/5 star read, the relationship was cute, the spice was good, the miscommunication was handled well wasn’t done too late on in the story. Overall it’s a good book.
