This book was silly with very little story but that not stop my girls making me read it 3 times in a row! It made my eldest daughter ask her dad if he was smelly and sniffing him haha. It was a fun little interactive book. Went down well with my girls even if I didn't get why. Loved the pictures though!

We generally love books about daddies. My husband is a wonderful father and it delights my daughter to read books about dads. This book has incredible illustrations and is a beautiful picture book, however the actual text is simplistic and did not draw us in.

I read it several times wanting to love it and I just didn't. I think with a little tweaking this could have been a 5 star book!

The publisher provided an ARC through Netgalley. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts

I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in an exchange for an honest review.

I would not purchase it for my child because it reinforces stereotypes about men and dads being incompetent idiots when it comes to parenting, rather than just as capable as being a parent as mom. One part that really stood out was the dad being messy—leaving his clothes around the house like a child—with the mom standing in the background with her arms crossed. But it’s okay, because “daddies just do that”. Not the message I want to send to my sons or daughters—especially not in the year 2020.

This was a cute book. I read it to my ten month old son. He liked the pictures and the story was cute. It showed how busy daddies can be and how they have a lot going on but they still love their babies even if they are silly and forgetful. The illustrations for the book were adorable.

Such an adorable and wonderfully illustrated book about daddies. My little one kept laughing and saying,”yep. Just like daddy.” We loved it.

I requested and received an e-ARC of this book from NetGalley and Clavis Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

This book was silly, fun, and overall enjoyable. I think kids will have fun comparing the Rhino dad and the silly, smelly, fun and crazy things he does to their own dads.
