The book had a lot of potential but the ending felt very childish. The audiobook narrators were great!

This books was terrible.  The writing was poor, the jokes weren't funny and the characters were caricatures.  This does everything wrong whereas Kilt trip takes a similar concept and does it exponentially better.

As a 100% Scottish person this book was so cringy. The language and accents are very questionable but it still made me giggle at several points. Plus, any book with butteries in it is a winner to me!
I started reading the audiobook but the narrators accent was absolutely atrocious. The male narrator in particular was so grating, I just couldn't keep going. I finished reading on the kindle and it was so much better.

4.5 stars!! This book frustrated me but also made me so silly happy. I loved story and the meaning about finding yourself and learning to love yourself flaws and all. Each character had their own issues within themselves and I think all of them found a great resolution their problems. I loved that the romance while helping them find their way to that point wasn’t the only thing that brought them peace. This made me want a grumpy scotsman and to move to Scotland ASAP!!
