From the little glimpses I had gotten of Austin’s story, I knew that when A.L. Jackson got around to writing his book it would be an emotional one. I thought I was prepared. I wasn’t. The journey that I was taken on was completely unexpected. Wait is another breathtaking, lyrical story about a broken boy falling for a broken girl and finding healing in each other. It will burrow into your heart and lodge itself in.

In order to break free of his big brother’s overbearing protectiveness; Austin Stone left home and hasn’t looked back. His past holds him captive, making him feel unworthy. He has made a lot of mistakes in his life. Large ones, small ones and they’ve cut him deep. Four years later, he could now be mistaken for his older brother’s twin but he still doesn’t feel like he can go home. Austin wanders the coast, playing his guitar in small venues. Edie Evans has her own secrets to keep. And she once entrusted them to Austin but he betrayed her. But walking into a bar one night, their presents collide with their past and they are face to face for the first time in years.

This book draws you in, the twists and turns keep you guessing and wondering what’s going to happen next. There’s mystery, drama, and heartache. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of feels. You’ll feel them all. It’s like a summer storm, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful to watch but devastating all the same. If you love rockstar romances, second chance romances, friends to lover romances—okay...if you just like romance novels, read this.

I knew right from the start that Austin's story would be my absolute favorite. The broken boy stole my heart in A Stone In The Sea and I was anxiously waiting for his story to be told. As per usual, A.L Jackson did not disappoint. Her books have always captivated me in a way that is hard to describe. Its an overwhelming feeling of awe, that just by reading her stories, you feel truly blessed to be given such a gift. She has a way with words that is insanely beautiful and magical! She is the Queen of the feels and let me tell you that I still get goosebumps when I think about some of the scenes from this story. Those of you who have read one of her books would agree with me when I say that A.L Jackson was born to write!! I wish I could rate this book 10 stars out of 5 cause thats how amazing it was. The only time I ever find myself highlighting or tagging a book like a madwoman is when I'm reading one of her stories. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if I found out that others have tattooed her words on their skin cause I have contemplated it a time or two. Who knows, it might happen someday but until then I'll just continue to admire her magnificent talent in print.

I'm not sure how each book gets better and better but AL Jackson is rocking it! This story will pull at your heartstrings because of the heartache both of these characters have been through. They have so much emotion from their past that they are holding on to but need to leery go of so they can find their way back to each other. Be prepared to have your heart shredded and pieced back together slowly.

Love getting more of the Sunder Boys. This one was on Baz brother Austin. Loved getting to see where he went and get more of his story to know what happened.

We have known from the beginning that Austin has a lot demons he is battling from his past. I've been anxious to see what his story would bring given his past.
Edie is his 'mirror' and has been in the same place as Austin for so long. I enjoyed how they made each other stronger, but still had to face their struggles themselves.
I enjoyed the storyline a lot. I didn't always agree with some reactions to things though. I liked the emotional connection between Edie and Austin and the punch it added to their story.
