This book destroyed me for days, maybe weeks, after reading. There is not much plot, and the book is very character-driven, and the characters will stay with me forever. I am so glad and so mad I read this, and I cannot in good faith recommend it to anyone, but it is one of the best, most beautiful, most heart-wrenching books I've ever laid eyes upon. It has changed my view of so many things. All that said, please read content warnings if you choose to read this. It is not for the faint of heart, and at times left me feeling faint at what characters were enduring.

What a horrible horrible horrible read this was, but not because it wasnt well written, but because it almost was too well written. I really went through the emotional roller coaster with this one, I cried, felt sick, wanted to stop, couldnt stop and everything in between. 

Whilst this was a well written book, do yourself a favour and dont read it. Spare yourself the sorrow and pain, but if you still insist, please check the triggers. 


One star taken because I do think this could have been 100 pages shorter and still have the desired effect of devastation.
