We really enjoyed this story It was cute and fun and made us laugh all the while having a fantastic cast of characters.

Ellie was the bomb she had a wicked sense of humor was a fantastic cook and is an all-around sweetheart who has been burned in the past so she is a little skid dish but, coming into her own once again.

Zack once you got past his indifferent personality and perhaps a little grumpiness there is so much below the surface that is kind and loving and a man trying to find himself and his new purpose in life.

Zack and Ellie were perfect for one another basically both of them are starting over striving for new dreams and a new purpose. Loved the easiness between them.

Overall a delightful tale that contained a slow-burn romance. Loved that this couple built enough trust with one another to express their hopes and dreams and speak about their pasts & present and how they really opened up to one another. After getting to know Zack that was a really big deal and for Ellie it is the first time being in Zack's arms that she has felt really safe in a really long time. Love is worth fighting for and we have a feeling Zack and Ellie would agree...

Bay brings out the sunshine to light up the heart. From funny to flirty, frustrating to tempting, Dr. Perfect hooks you at "Hello and breaks your heart when the time comes to say "Goodbye".

Contemporary Romance with a newly private GI Doctor, Zachary “Zack” Cove (MMC) went into the family business as a doctor, but he longs to become a writer. He’s hired a new assistant for his new private practice, Ellie Frost (MFC), she’s been running her ex-boyfriend’s pr career while he was cheating on her and treating her poorly so, she has no references and this was the only position that pays well enough.

Ellie just wants to make a great impression, make enough money to be able to enroll into Le Cordon Blue and train to become a chef, because she loves cooking.

These two have a strong attraction to each other and get snowed in, while at a remote cottage in a Scottish Island.

I enjoyed the story and the characters, but Ellie was always casting doubt upon herself. The author gives us our hea, with a bump along the way.

4.5 stars, 3.5 spice, mild spoilers- Zach is perfect, or so his family teases. He’s a doctor opening a private practice in London. He hires Ellie to be his receptionist. But he has a secret, he hates medicine and wants to be a writer. He begins writing a cozy mystery in secret one picked up by an agent. Ellie is recently out of a bad relationship and is saving to study at Le Cordon Bleu. The pair ends up snowed in at a cottage in Scotland and they give into their electric chemistry.

I really liked this pairing. There is an element of Instalove, in that they move quickly. Elilie has real trauma from her past.  She doesn’t really seem to deal with it. It’s resolved with love and a silly conversation with her ex. She doesn’t even tell him off, just hangs up.

Other than that, the love story is believable. They are more self contained because Zach is writing and editing his book for most of the story. I liked being introduced to Vincent, but it’s weird Dax hasn’t appeared yet.

Overall, this is a fun read. They both seem like introverts, which appeals to my introverted nature. This was a solid read with some nice spice, that wasn’t over the top.

Zack (spelling?? Sorry, i listened to the audio book and the blurb had no names) has to be my favourite Cove Brother, even in the first book of the series when he showed up i liked him!

And i really feel for Ellie, she has a lot to work through emotionally, and it doesn't feel dragged out.

I can see me reading this again!
