This is an incredibly well written memoir about the complicated relationship between a mother and daughter. Through the lens of the Half Korean Half American daughter, we grow with her as she traces her cultural roots and examines her maternal relationship as her Mother wrestles with a terminal illness. It’s full of love and humor and an amazingly extensive look ay the good of the Korean culture. Ultimately it is a book about learning to embrace your differences and your family.
