4.5 stars — I love this whimsical, fun, and magical series!!! My darling little Owein is at the forefront of this one that is set mostly across the pond in England rather than Boston or Rhode Island. There’s not as much humor in this one but Charlie N. Holmberg expands the world but showcases Merrit, Hulda, and Owein’s characters as they each discover more facets of magic. I literally binged this series on audio in less than a week because I didn’t want to leave this world. I’m very excited for Wizard of Most Wicked Ways that’s out in March — It’s focusing on Owein once he’s older and I can’t wait to be back in this world ✨
