This book was so good but also made me sad because its the last of the series. I love the friendship that Savanna and Hayes had and although i normally hate miscommunication trope, it was just so well done.

The love story was amazing but I think what gets me about this series and specially this book was the friendship between the guys. So much support and healthy communication between them and of course beefcake will always be my main guy

Laura Pavlov is the queen of small town romance. I'm so sad to have to say goodbye to the men (and ladies) of Magnolia Falls, especially my guy Beefcake!

Hayes and Savannah's story was an epic finale for a series that had a lot of humor, heart, and spice!  These two former best friends found their way back into each other's lives after a decade of estrangement.  What happens next is nothing short of sparks flying and because of forced circumstances.  Let me tell you... I. Was. Here. For. It!

This was a beautiful conclusion to the series, and I think Ms. Pavlov wrapped it up just nicely. While setting the stage for the next series... bring it on!

Finding Hayes is the fifth and final book in the Magnolia Falls series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Hayes and Savannah had been best friends when they were younger, but they lost touch when she moved away. When she went back to Magnolia Falls, they reconnected and ended up in a marriage of convenience.

I’ve enjoyed this entire series, and I was excited to see the grumpy Hayes fall. He was never rude to Savannah, despite how grumpy he was with everyone else. And she was so dang sweet. Even though a miscommunication led to them not being friends, neither was cruel to the other.

There’s something about childhood friends reconnecting. It’s that they have so much history between them, and they just understand and know each other.

Ah, this was so cute and the perfect ending to the series.

Narrators: Andi Arndt and Lee Samuels
Narration Style: Dual

These two did a fantastic job! They both had the perfect voice for their character. And Andi even sang at times, which was great!

Only Laura Pavlov could combine some of my favorite and least favorite tropes in a book and get me to enjoy it. I’ve really enjoyed this series and getting to see the characters from the past books was fun. Hayes and Savannah were childhood best friends who became strangers due to a miscommunication. That miscommunication was discussed pretty early on in the book which was nice. The marriage of convenience helps push along them having the conversation.

I’ll always struggle with the accidental pregnancy trope. The way it was portrayed in this book though I was fine with.

Love Hayes and Savannah! I usually hate the miscommunication trope but I liked that they weren’t unnecessarily drawing out resolving and talking about the miscommunication. I loved getting to see this softer side of Hayes, a great end to the series!!

4.5!

i am SAD that this series has come to an end. i loved this series from start to finish, and i am deeply, deeply sad that it is over. i think that this was the perfect end to this series. the found family in this series is simply unmatched and i just want to live here.

sav & hayes were the perfect dose of grumpy x sunshine and a hint of second chance?? its always been you??? so well done. I LOVED IT.

What a way to end this series! Laura Pavlov had me in all my feels for Hayes & Sav. This is a beautiful marriage of convenience love story that just kept squeezing my heart until it burst.

This is such a wonderful second chance type of love & boy do these two just love each other. This might start off as a marriage of convenience but the feelings between Hayes & Sav are very real from the moment they reconnect. As they work through their past, they both come to the quick realization that it's always been "peas & carrots" (i.e. the "it's always been you" trope is strong here!). This long-lost best friends/true love story is done so incredibly well.

I love the grumpy vs sunshine with Hayes & Sav - they complement each other perfectly. Savannah is confident, outgoing & loves Hayes so fully. Her reading his letters completely tore down any walls she might've put up & had me tearing alongside her. And Hayes - holy hotness. That man might've been guarded but he comes undone for Savannah, laying himself bare for her in every way. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and this love story is the perfect way to end this series - sweet, spicy and hella SWOONY!

We get to see all our favorites (lots of Beefcake!) one last time and that found family just brings so much joy. And if you're sad about this ending, you won't be for long as the spinoff is teased - I can't wait to visit a new small town from Laura soon!

☀️ Grumpy x Sunshine

peas and carrots

My goodness this book gave the feels so good. Laura knows how to pull the tears right from my soul. Hayes is a big fricken softie and I am here for it.
This book was so good and made me so happy to see him have his day. Gosh so good
